We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Automobile Service Advisor to join our after-sales service team. The ideal candidate will act as a key link between customers and workshop technicians, ensuring smooth communication, accurate diagnosis, timely service delivery, and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle concerns and service requirements.
Perform initial vehicle inspection (walk-around check) and identify visible issues.
Create detailed job cards with accurate complaint descriptions.
Explain repair work, service schedules, cost estimates, and delivery timelines to customers.
Provide transparent and regular updates to customers on vehicle status.
Coordinate with workshop technicians for diagnosis, repairs, and technical clarification.
Ensure correct allocation of jobs to technicians based on skill and workload.
Recommend additional maintenance, repairs, and value-added services (upselling).
Prepare and explain final invoices and ensure customer approval before work begins.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Ensure timely delivery of vehicles after service completion.
Conduct final quality check before vehicle handover.
Maintain service records, job cards, and update CRM/system accurately.
Follow company service standards, safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
Achieve workshop KPIs such as customer satisfaction (CSI), upselling targets, and turnaround time (TAT).

Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field (preferred).
Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive service industry is an advantage.
Strong communication and customer handling skills.
Basic knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical).
Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Computer literacy and CRM/workshop management software knowledge.
