We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded Accountant to oversee our financial operations and support strategic decision-making. This role goes beyond bookkeeping — we are seeking someone who can actively contribute to improving financial performance and identifying opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial health of the business
• Prepare monthly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and forecasts
• Identify areas to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Provide insights on how to optimize revenue and grow profitability
• Support budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements
• Work closely with management to support business decisions
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable business insights
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and tax (VAT) requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred
• Experience working with luxury, retail, or e-commerce businesses
• Commercial mindset — ability to think beyond numbers and contribute to growth
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and cost management
• Good English speaker (Arabic is a plus)
• Understands how UAE Tax and VAT works
