Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Accountant role based in Dubai. The Financial Accountant will prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies. Responsibilities include managing general ledger entries, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The role also involves analyzing financial data, monitoring cash flows, and providing insights to support management decision-making. The Financial Accountant will work closely with internal teams, auditors, and external partners, and help improve accounting processes and use of accounting software.
Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting principles, including practical experience in corporate finance.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in line with applicable standards.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related tools, with the ability to optimize system use.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and present clear findings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of internal controls, reconciliations, and audit support processes.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• 03 years of experience in the field of Financial Accounting in the UAE.
• Should have thorough knowledge of VAT and FTA requirements so that the company is fully compliant to government regulations in these areas.
