Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close
Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances
Perform bank and branch reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies
Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
Assist in preparing schedules and documentation for internal and external audits
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial variance analysis
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and vendors as required
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)
Auditing experience or exposure to audit processes strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT/FTA regulations
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho, or similar)
Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, vendors, and auditors
Professional certification (or in progress) such as ACCA, CMA
