We are seeking a rigorous and principled Compliance Officer to ensure the organisation operates within all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, Legal Counsel, or CEO, the successful candidate will identify compliance risks, implement controls, and hold the organisation accountable to its regulatory obligations regardless of commercial pressure.
The core of the role is compliance monitoring and risk assessment. The Compliance Officer reviews business activities, processes, and transactions for adherence to relevant laws and regulations, conducts regular compliance risk assessments across departments, and identifies areas where the organisation is exposed to regulatory, legal, or reputational risk. Findings are documented clearly and escalated to management with practical recommendations rather than vague warnings.
