Accountant – Used Car Trading (Dubai, UAE)
Purity Used Cars L.L.C is a growing used car trading company in Dubai. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage our full accounting cycle, VAT compliance under the Profit Margin Scheme, and bank financing matters.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting in line with IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles
Apply the VAT Profit Margin Scheme (Article 29 of the UAE VAT Law) to used vehicle sales, including correct margin calculation, record-keeping and documentation for each vehicle
Prepare and file VAT returns via the FTA EmaraTax portal and ensure full compliance with FTA requirements
Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance, including registration, tax computations and annual filings
Track vehicle inventory costing, including purchase price, reconditioning costs and margin per unit
Prepare and submit bank loan and credit facility applications, including stock/inventory financing, with the supporting financial statements, cash flow forecasts and documentation
Liaise with banks on facility renewals, covenant compliance and customer auto finance processes
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and petty cash
Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
Hands-on experience with the UAE VAT Profit Margin Scheme; automotive or used goods trading experience is a strong advantage
Solid knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax legislation and their practical application
Proven experience preparing bank loan and credit facility applications
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting software ([Zoho Books / Tally / QuickBooks]) and MS Excel
ACCA, CMA or CPA qualification is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
What We Offer
Salary: AED 4,000 – 10,000 per month
UAE employment visa and medical insurance

Working hours: 6 days/week, 10:00–19:00
