- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Process customer orders accurately through the POS system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
- Issue receipts and process refunds or void transactions according to company procedures.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and perform cash reconciliation at the end of the shift.
- Prepare daily sales and cashier reports.
- Handle discounts, promotions, vouchers, and loyalty programs correctly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure orders are processed smoothly.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, prices, and promotions.
- Resolve basic billing issues and customer concerns professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding area.
- Follow company procedures for cash handling, security, and loss prevention.
- Monitor POS equipment and report technical problems promptly.
- Assist with opening and closing cashier duties.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace policies.
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods when required.
