I’m applying for the Warehouse Assistant role. I have 4 of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, handling receiving, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control.
In my last role, I was responsible for:
Accuracy and speed: Maintained 99.5% picking accuracy while processing 200+ orders per shift using barcode scanners and WMS
Stock control: Managed FIFO/FEFO rotation, performed daily cycle counts, and reduced stock discrepancies by 20%
Receiving & dispatch: Checked GRNs against POs, inspected goods for damage, and ensured on-time dispatch with correct documentation
Safety and compliance: Followed PPE and equipment safety protocols. Operated pallet jacks safely with zero incidents
Teamwork: Coordinated with dispatch, sales, and drivers to keep the workflow smooth during peak periods
I’m detail-focused, physically fit for lifting, and comfortable working shifts including weekends during busy seasons. I pick things up fast and I care about keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and audit-ready.
