Legal Consultant / Advisor / Manager

Legal professional with 26 years of multi-jurisdictional experience in versatile law practice and corporate counsel. Skilled in providing analysis and guidance on corporate matters, commercial transactions, banking & finance, property & construction, real estate, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence reports, arbitration & mediation, litigation and compliance. Adept at liaising with various government authorities, drafting complex legal documents, and mitigating risk across multiple industries.
Vetting & standardization of all types of corporate documentations including agreements and review (non-disclosure agreements, memorandum of understanding, joint venture agreements, escrow agreements, etc.)
Core responsibilities include the maintenance of AML/CFT policies and the supervision of screening, monitoring, and due diligence (CDD/EDD) functions.
Filing and follow-up of cases relating to labour, commercial and criminal at Dubai & Abu Dhabi courts, ministry of labour, public prosecutor, police stations and before center for amicable settlement of disputes.
Preparation of Arbitration proceedings, notices, etc., drafting of Arbitration claim and counters.
Attending before the Experts, preparing the submission to be submitted before the Expert.
Resolving the labour issues by amicable settlement.
Bad debts recovery, issuing demand notices and filing commercial cases against the debt defaulters.
Anticipating & mitigating potential legal problems and providing legal advisory support on all types of legal matters of the company.
Acting as a channel of contact between various departments of the company and the attorneys of the company in ensuring that all the legal matters are correctly handled.
Providing the final recommendations for the risk management plans providing key potential areas upon adoption such plan and clarify in-advance a thorough troubleshooting for each orientation.
Formulating strategies for legal issues; internal consultation, contract reviews, compliance with laws, group-public reputation…etc. that ensure proper utilization of resources with eliminating the chance of legal risks.
Ensuring that the company complies with all the applicable economic and business legislations and other business related legislations.
Providing proactive legal advice on - risk exposure & management, assets & business relationships, mergers & acquisitions, regulatory matters & other transactional matters.
