Application for IT Infrastructure Specialist
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in an IT Infrastructure role within your organization. I bring hands-on experience supporting Linux systems, virtualization platforms, storage and backup environments, networking, and infrastructure monitoring across hosting and IT operations environments.
In my current role as a Linux Engineer at SaturnME Trading LLC in Dubai, I work with Proxmox VE and KVM virtual machines, Proxmox clusters, VMware ESXi, LVM and ZFS storage, Proxmox Backup Server, and Proxmox Mail Gateway. My responsibilities also include troubleshooting VM connectivity, working with Linux bridges and VLANs, configuring NAT and firewall rules, validating backup and restore processes, and monitoring infrastructure using Nagios XI and Nagios Log Server.
Previously, I worked in system administration and engineering roles supporting Linux hosting platforms, Apache and Nginx, cPanel/WHM, CloudLinux, mail services, server monitoring, backup and restore operations, and incident troubleshooting. This experience has strengthened my ability to investigate technical issues methodically, support service availability, document work clearly, and follow problems through to resolution.
I would welcome the opportunity to contribute my practical infrastructure experience, troubleshooting skills, and willingness to learn to your IT team. I am particularly interested in roles involving infrastructure operations, virtualization, Linux administration, storage and backup, networking, and monitoring.
Thank you for considering my application. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss how my experience aligns with your team’s requirements.
Yours sincerely,
Nithin Chandran
