Backend & API Engineer – Python | 2.5+ Years Experience

Dear Hiring Manager,
I'm a backend developer based in Dubai with 2.5 years of experience building APIs and services in Python — mainly FastAPI, Django, and Flask, backed by PostgreSQL and Redis. I'm looking for a full-time backend role where I can take on more ownership of system design and delivery.
Most of my work has been on systems where getting it wrong isn't an option. At Zilbank, I built a fraud detection engine for a live banking platform, scoring transactions using BIN patterns, IP intelligence, and geolocation mismatches, alongside OAuth2 and Redis-based session security. At RCS Tech, I managed Azure CI/CD pipelines and cleaned up vulnerabilities across the stack using Snyk and SonarQube, on top of day-to-day API and database work.
What I bring beyond the stack is adaptability — I've joined projects mid-stream and shipped features within weeks, and I've also built systems from a blank repo, including a multi-tenant SaaS platform with role-based access control and a fraud-aware banking API. Either way, I get into the codebase fast and figure out what actually needs solving.
I'm available immediately, already based in Dubai, and can meet whenever works for an interview.
