Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in entry-level cybersecurity opportunities within your organization, particularly roles such as Junior Cybersecurity Analyst, SOC Analyst, VAPT Analyst, Junior Penetration Tester, Information Security Analyst, or Junior GRC Analyst.
I hold a Master of Computer Applications degree and am currently based in Dubai, UAE. I am presently completing a cybersecurity internship with Cyber50 Defense, where I am gaining foundational exposure to Offensive Security, Penetration Testing, Governance, Risk and Compliance workflows, security assessment practices, managed security service operations, and client-focused cybersecurity documentation.
I am an eCPPT-certified professional and have also completed Advanced Penetration Testing training and an internship project with RedTeam Hacker Academy, Dubai. Through these programs, I developed practical knowledge of vulnerability assessment, web application security, network security, internal network testing, system security, Active Directory attack simulation, privilege escalation, and technical security reporting.
My hands-on training includes working with controlled cybersecurity lab environments on TryHackMe, HackTheBox, VulnHub, and PortSwigger. I have practised reconnaissance, port scanning, service enumeration, vulnerability identification, controlled exploitation, post-exploitation, Linux and Windows privilege escalation, and web application testing.
My technical knowledge includes OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting, Remote Code Execution, authentication weaknesses, and session management issues. I also have exposure to Active Directory security techniques, including Kerberoasting, Pass-the-Hash, lateral movement, BloodHound analysis, Mimikatz, and PowerView.
I am familiar with cybersecurity tools including Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Wireshark, Sqlmap, Hydra, CrackMapExec, BloodHound, Mimikatz, John the Ripper, and Kali Linux. I also have basic programming and scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and PowerShell.
In addition to technical security skills, I understand the importance of accurate documentation, professional reporting, risk communication, confidentiality, and responsible testing practices. My current internship is helping me understand how cybersecurity services are delivered in a professional environment and how technical findings are communicated to clients and stakeholders.
I am a motivated, analytical, and responsible cybersecurity professional who is eager to begin a full-time career in the UAE. I am willing to learn, accept guidance from experienced professionals, and continuously improve my technical and professional capabilities.
