Mechatronics Engineer | Instrumentation, Controls & Maintenance | 9+ Yrs Exp (7+ Yrs UAE)

I am a Mechatronics Engineer with 9+ years of hands-on experience in instrumentation, control systems, process automation, and electro-mechanical maintenance, including 7+ years working in the UAE.
My background includes installing, calibrating, and maintaining field instruments (pressure, flow, level, temperature), working with DCS, PLC, and SIS systems, and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. I am experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, diagnosing signal loss and wiring issues, and restoring systems quickly during breakdowns. I am also comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
At Fatima Fertilizer Company, I worked directly on plant instrumentation and control systems, ensuring accurate measurement, calibration, and system reliability. In my current role, I have also taken on a 1-year Acting Manager assignment, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and vendor coordination, in addition to my technical responsibilities. I also bring hands-on training experience as an Automobile Trainer at Al Shabaka Technical Institute (ASTI Academy), where I delivered practical, hands-on instruction.
I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics (Electro-Mechanical) from Air University, Islamabad (WES-verified), and I am a registered engineer with the Pakistan Engineering Council (Reg. No. MECHATRO 01891).
I am open to opportunities in instrumentation & controls, maintenance engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, field service engineering, and technical training roles. I bring a strong commitment to safety, having consistently followed EHS procedures including PPE use, lockout-tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work requirements.
