Dalhousie BSc Economics Student | IGCSE Economics & Humanities Tutor
About Me
Incoming BSc Economics student at Dalhousie University (January intake). Fully fluent in English (IGCSE First Language English background), with an A in IGCSE Economics and 4 AS Levels (including AS Econ). Having recently gone through the British curriculum, I know the exact mark-scheme rules, 12-mark essay structures, and terminology required for top grades.
In addition to academics, I served as an Expo City Dubai Intern at Terra, facilitating children's educational summer camps. This experience gave me hands-on practice breaking down complex ideas to keep younger students engaged and patient.
Subjects Offered
Years 10 – 11 (IGCSE / GCSE): Economics & Sociology (Focus: Past-paper drills, command words, diagram mechanics, and essay evaluation structures)
Years 2 – 9: History & Social Studies (Focus: Building strong foundational knowledge, vocabulary, active reading, and interactive engagement)
Rates & Availability
Rate: AED 400 / month (2x 1-hour sessions per week, 1-on-1 online)
Availability: Sunday through Friday (Flexible times)
