Preparing your child for the 11+ this September?
I'm a London-qualified secondary teacher with 15 years of UK classroom experience (3 as ESOL lecturer and 12 of them as a fully qualified secondary school teacher), PGCE from the UCL Institute of Education, MA in Education, Policy & Society from King's College London.
I specialise in the English component of the 11+ — comprehension, vocabulary, creative writing, and inference — for children applying to UK grammar schools (GL Assessment, CSSE, ISEB Common Pre-Test).
What you get:
1-to-1 online sessions, 60 minutes
Weekly marked writing with examiner-style feedback
Focus on the four English skill areas tested in the 11+
Written progress update every four sessions
Senior Former Assistant Headteacher of Inclusion in a London secondary school. Founder of online Academy, a UK-based 11+ institution.
Rate: AED 375 per hour ( reduced rates available for packages)
Format: Online (Google Meet), based in Dubai Marina, teaching students internationally
Availability: Tues, Thurs, or Sat evenings.
Also available to families outside UAE, abroad.
