I am writing to apply for the Backend Engineer position. I’m a software engineer with 3+ years of experience building scalable backend systems using Node.js, Express.js and SQL & NoSQL databases.
In my recent roles, I have built and maintained production-grade APIs, designed efficient database architectures with PostgreSQL and MongoDB and developed real-time systems using Socket.IO. I also have hands-on experience integrating third party services such as Stripe, Paddle, Twilio, Firebase and Google Analytics.
Core Competency: Backend performance and system reliability optimization. For example, I was able to improve API response times up to 40% by indexing the database, optimizing queries, and caching with Redis. I have also been involved in AI-powered apps, such as LLM integration for intelligent features and user personalization.
Other than backend development, I have worked on deployment workflows, debugged production issues, worked with frontend developers across teams to make sure the system works end-to-end smoothly.
I am specifically interested in roles where I can help build scalable systems, improve backend architecture and work with modern cloud and API-driven products.
