Subject: Application for Civil / Infrastructure Engineer Position
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am writing to express my interest in the Civil / Infrastructure Engineer position within your organization. I am a Civil Engineer with 12+ years of experience across Qatar, Oman, and India, with strong exposure to infrastructure development, roadworks, wet and dry utilities, pipeline installation, external works, and project execution.
During my experience with Arab Engineering Bureau (AEB) in Qatar, I worked in a PMC environment and was involved in major projects including Al Thumama FIFA Stadium & Precinct, Rosewood Hotel Luxury Mixed-Use Development, Barwa Affordable Housing, Qatar Schools PPP Development, Lusail Diabetic Hospital, and Al Wakra Labour Accommodation. My responsibilities included site supervision, contractor coordination, inspection, review of IFC drawings and method statements, QA/QC compliance, testing, NCR management, and project closeout.
I also have infrastructure experience in Oman, covering sewer, water, irrigation, stormwater, chilled water, MV/LV ducting, telecom/FOC networks, HDD crossings, manholes, road construction, excavation, pipe laying, testing, backfilling, compaction, and reinstatement.
I am proficient in working with AutoCAD, Primavera P6, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, QCS, QHDM, QCTM, ASTM, BS, and ACI standards. I am confident that my combination of site experience, infrastructure knowledge, QA/QC understanding, and coordination skills would allow me to contribute effectively to your projects.
