I am Accounts Assistant with over two years of hands-on accounting experience gained across two Chartered Accountancy firms in Kerala, India, and a strong foundation in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and statutory tax compliance, I am confident I can contribute effectively to your finance team from day one.
In my most recent role as Accountant & Audit Assistant at RVN & Associates, I managed end-to-end bookkeeping, prepared financial statements, and performed detailed bank and vendor reconciliations across multiple branches. I also handled statutory compliance including GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS reconciliations, which has given me a solid grounding in indirect-tax processes that transfers well to UAE VAT compliance.
Alongside my professional experience, I am proficient in Tally Prime, Tally ERP 9, Zoho Books, and advanced MS Excel, and I am currently pursuing the CMA (USA) certification to deepen my expertise in financial management and reporting. I bring strong attention to detail, a methodical approach to reconciliations and audits, and the adaptability to quickly learn new systems and workflows — all skills I am keen to bring to any companies.
