I most recently served as Senior Accountant with VooPayment Services Provider L.L.C., Dubai, where my responsibilities included payment, settlement, bank, and vendor reconciliations; the preparation of monthly Profit and Loss and Cash Flow Statements; and coordination with Payment Service Providers and senior management on financial analysis and reporting matters. Prior to this role, I served as Senior Accountant with Smart Concepts Sweets and Candies Preparation LLC, Dubai, where I was entrusted with the company-wide implementation of Zoho Books and Inventory across multiple branches, the independent management of UAE VAT filing in accordance with FTA regulations, and the supervision of junior accounting staff. I was promoted to this position from the role of Accountant in recognition of my performance and dedication.
Over the course of my career, I have developed sound expertise in financial accounting, IFRS-compliant reporting, UAE VAT compliance, payroll and WPS processing, and audit coordination. I have consistently endeavoured to maintain accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of my work, and I take considerable pride in having managed VAT filing and audit responsibilities without compliance issues across multiple filing cycles.
