Large ottoman in charcoal grey leather, purchased new from Loom Collection in October 2022 (model name “Tanbo”) for AED2,390.
The leather has a natural, rugged patina so some variations in the texture and finish are part of the design.
“Tanbo ottoman is an exercise in waste reduction. By re-purposing, the surplus leather cuts from regular sofa production a beautiful patchwork is created, reminiscent of the rice fields known in Japan as Tanbo. The foam filling is also sourced from production surplus, giving this stool an extremely low carbon footprint.”
