Forest Memory
Mixed media sculptural object

Forest Memory is a sculptural landscape inspired by damp forests and moss-covered ground — places connected to the artist’s childhood and sense of home.
The base of the piece was built entirely by hand from recycled cardboard and egg carton papier-mâché, transforming discarded materials into an organic terrain-like form. The surface is layered with preserved and decorative moss, artificial plants, and natural textures that create the feeling of a miniature living ecosystem.
Balancing somewhere between sculpture, landscape, and interior object, the work captures the atmosphere of wet soil, forest silence, and slow natural growth. Twisted branches and soft moss textures give the piece an almost dreamlike quality, as if a fragment of woodland had been carefully preserved indoors.
Created through a slow manual process in Dubai, UAE, the piece reflects themes of memory, transformation, and reconnection with nature through reclaimed materials.
Designed as a collectible interior artwork, Forest Memory works especially well in organic modern, wabi-sabi, earthy, and contemporary interiors.
