One of the more unusual and specialised cameras in the Leica M family, the MDa is Leica reduced to its purest essentials.
The camera is in very good working condition. All shutter speeds are correct, the shutter is smooth and accurate, and everything functions as it should. It had a professional CLA approximately one year ago, so it is ready to be used.

It is certainly not the easiest Leica to shoot - and that is exactly the point. It is a camera for someone who enjoys a more deliberate, hands-on approach and is comfortable judging exposure without a built-in meter.

The MDa was designed without the usual M-series viewfinder and light meter. What remains is the legendary Leica M mechanical shutter and M-mount - leaving the photographer to bring their own vision, experience and judgement, as there is something especially satisfying about shooting an MDa. It removes everything unnecessary and leaves you with the fundamentals.

A genuinely special Leica with plenty of history and a completely different shooting experience from a conventional camera.
