I'm selling my trusty old Nikon Coolpix P900. I have never taken photography too seriously, so I only had one camera. It was my one and only camera for quite some time and was used to take pictures of my kids when they're quite a distance away from me. I admit, the zoom is a little over kill for that, but it did get me some good photos of wildlife. I have shared some of the more recent pictures I've gotten. Some of the subjects were at least hundreds of meters away. The deer were barely visible to the naked eye. I just happened to catch their silhouettes. The birds were a little closer (maybe around 30 or 40 meters?). The moon is AT LEAST 1km away.
The only reason I'm selling this is because I think it's time for me to finally get a new camera and would like to experiment with different lenses.
I still think it's a great camera for beginners. It was definitely good for me (still a beginner though). Settings are simple and more traditional (to me at least). It's also a good camera if you decide to look into some birdwatching or wildlife photography.
I'll probably be able to knock off a few AEDs if you promise to share some of your wildlife photography in future!
