I think the best Arabic restaurant in Dubai has got to be the Al Bandar. My Singaporean friends enjoyed the food a lot! It is situated at an idyllic spot in the Heritage village as you enter the restaurant the wall paintings of Old Dubai yet you are sitting in a very modern restaurant with it’s warm hospitality.

The Restaurant has a great ambience and great flavorful food and huge portions too! The Mix grill and Hammour in particular was fantastic here.

Al Bandar menu includes all kind of International Seafood; fresh fish, shrimps, lobster, crab, shell fish, oyster, mussels, squids, scallops etc., and can be picked from the display boat at an affordable prices at your choice of rice or vegetables or noodles. Moreover, there is Vegetarian food for those who has no taste in Seafood.

There are variety kinds of steaks, chicken and duck meat and all kind of fresh juices, desserts, coffees and tea.

The staff was very competent and friendly. Al Bandar has the best Arabic food in Dubai and a strategic location!

Had dinner that last week, and must say what a difference to eat real fresh food. And I must say their "All Home Made" shirts are true, it was realy fresh. Fetuccine Alfredo, amazing. The place was packed and a waiting line, No wonder. still service was ok with this amount of people, never seen anything like it before, must be most popular place in Dubai. But they deserve it. Price was value for money. I will be back

Its a bit pricy but the food there is as good as any other nice thai restaurant in Dubai. Depends on what one orders. Been here quite a few times and got what I expected which was authentic thai food.

We have eaten in Planet Hollywoods' the world over, but this one was a real let-down. Planet Hollywood should be an "experience" to remember. We've eaten there twice and both times we were the only family there - says it all really! Staff were attentive but like I say we were the only family there so they had no reason not to be! It's expensive for what you get (or don't get..) Vegetarian options are very limited too. Wouldn't bother with this one again.

My friend and I decided to have lunch here as we had an Entertainer voucher. It's really nicely decorated inside - looks pretty new and is decked out to look like a diner, with big booths and American paraphernalia on the walls.

The menu is extensive, with the usual suspects - burgers, fajitas, salads, pastas, sandwiches etc. I chose a chicken burger which came with breaded mozzarella, pickles, salad, and a side of coleslaw. Weirdly, some of the burgers did not come with fries, which I thought was a bit mean - I mean, who eats a burger without fries? The burger, to be fair, was tasty and generously sized. My friend picked one of the light dishes - hammour with various vegetables, which was bland with overcooked veg. I have had far better grilled hammour elsewhere and it was certainly not worth 49AED.

Overall, the service was OK, food was reasonable, but I found the prices to be far too high. Even with the voucher, we paid almost 100AED for 2 mains and 2 drinks, which is just not worth it considering you can go to Johnny Rockets or Fuddruckers and have a better experience. I also did not see any malt shakes on the menu which was a shame as for me, they are a must if I am in the rare mood for a burger. Anyways, it is a nice looking restaurant with OK food but I would not rush back.

Ok

I have only eaten here once and I don't think I will visit again. I had a Pizza and my friend had a Steak. The steak was hard and overcooked. The Pizza was OK but I have tasted better at places like Papa Johns in Festival Center. The Staff are friendly but it took me long to get their attention when we were ready to order. I Personally think the food does not justify the price.

This is by far the worst restaurant in Festival City. I had a single portion meal and it was 80 Dhs. The portion was way too small for the price. It tasted old and and it was cold. The drinks are round about 25 Dhs and they have no taste. Won't recommend it.

I went to that restaurant because it is famous name in USA but actually it was kind of dissapointing:
to be honest the ambient is really cool but for the food i was really shocked from the high prices.. the burgers start from 50 till 75 and the size is smaller than mcdonalds and the taste is horrible , I would rather buy 50 bucks from Fuddruckers thats worth it
secondly the mix grill like 90 DHS it is not enough for 10 years old kid and the meat is so fatty, No I am sorry I will never go back there again..
1. expensive
2. small size meals
3. taste below normal

A friend celebrated her birthday here last Friday night. The place is accessible & easy to find for it’s just along the highway. The place is very comfortable and big group could be accommodated very easily because they have big areas. We were approximately 20 people in one long table and there are another 2 (two) families in a big round table.

The celebrant did an advance order so her guests don’t have to wait for a long time anymore once they arrive which is a smart decision.

She actually ordered a lot but I am only able to taste those reachable from my place which are garden salad (fresh tomatoes, onions, black olives, green peppers, sliced cucumbers served over a blend of fresh lettuce with shredded carrots and red cabbage), chicken wings (savory wings with flavor baked to the bone that has a very yummy dipping sauce), a little of Diablo burst pasta (pasta tossed with tomato sauce, Italian sausage , fresh mushrooms, onions, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese and sprinkles of red pepper spices which isn’t that tasty for me) and Pasta Chicken Alfredo (pasta served with grilled chicken, fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with creamy Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese). I tried 2 (two) types of pizza that she ordered, the fisherman’s catch which I really liked, it has shrimp, green peppers and onions, we got thin crust of that, it was creamy and I loved it. The other one is the Pepperoni Pizzazz which has few pepperonis and quite loaded with mozzarella cheese.

Staffs are very assisting; they attend to your requests fast and with delight.

Pasta and salad serving is good for one heavy eater but it could be shared by two light eaters. =)

Prices are affordable when I checked it on their menu.
