Legendary Ibiza DJ Alex P visited Dubai this weekend and stopped by Chi @ The Lodge to get the crowd moving. The rain coming down didn't stop anyone from a boogie and in fact added a pretty cool vibe to the whole evening. Check out the pics.

Duplays.com organised a wonderful (and much needed here) social event for Dubai's most competitive to come out, play and mingle. We had to check it out and even played in a few (we won some and lost some). We would have won more if JC and Sim both hadn't been injured!

Global Village ends this month so we wanted to check it out again and see if there were bargains to be had. If you haven't been yet this year you should check it out. It is true fun for the whole family and a great way to see the wares of the world without a plane ride.

We are fans of all kinds of racing sports and we never knew some awesome dhow sailing was going on right in our back yard nearly every weekend. These Dhows are the smallest they race here, the 22 foot boats. Sadly the "Dubizzler boat" crewed by the Shamardal Team did not win.

We had to check out the Dubai Pet Show because for us, seeing the pets that look like the owners...is one of the funniest things ever! So many cute pets, so little time. Points to the massive Great Danes and the tiny little ballerina puppy.

If you are in need of a good Boogie, Zinc always delivers. We didn't see any dance competitions this time but it was an awesome night nonetheless.

We haven't been to Barasti for some time & honestly we missed our favorite hang out. We went there last Thursday & had a blast...as usual!

Every year global village is a wonderful place to go and learn about the world, experience new cultures and enjoy the true mixing pot that we live in. Global Village goes on until mid February so be sure to check out and look out for the Dubizzle Photographer if you are there!

What a party! Our favorite DJ and voted number 1 DJ on earth, Armin Van Buuren rocked Dubai's socks off this weekend for probably the hottest New Year's party in the city. We had planned on going to other parties as well that night but Armin was just too good to miss. We haven't ever seen the WTC look quite like this. Wow!

Its our first time there since the new opening of Ocean Club & we really enjoyed it. The place is fresh, music was uplifting & the weather just added to the beauty of it all. We recommend it to our fellow dubizzlers & we'll definitely be going again soon. This time the Dubizzle style award goes to the young lady in yellow & turquoise, flashy, so Rihanna style!
