Hi. I'm a year 11 student here in Dubai at an IB school. In the next few months I am going to be expected to pick all my subjects for my last two years at school, and have been advised to seek some 'work experience' or do some job shadowing, in my chosen career field so that I am sure it is what I want to do.
I have wanted to be a surgeon for most of my life and I now obviously have a problem. I know that the rules in the hospitals here are a lot stricter than in some other countries, like my home country for example, South Africa, where shadowing a doctor for a couple days is a lot simpler. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to go about getting to spend sometime shadowing a surgeon/doctor of any kind?
